It's not $60 per year...Unless there is a payment plan I do not know about. It's $500+ and it's all at once. But THX for letting me know the ridiculous prices will continue. And no I cannot afford those prices for"One More Shot" For those that can...ENJOY!! "It's all about the money...and We like it, like it, yes we do!

Because they allowed people to video the recent shows we can all enjoy them playing, if only through youtube.... but that is better than nothing... it is certainly better than my favorite group not playing at all. I will try to make these shows, but if it all fks up again, and I cant make it, then I still am delighted thay are rolling and people are rocking. Its a good thing.

There are rumours about arena shows on the US west coast

In other words, a couple of shows in LA, where there are plenty of people who can afford the $2,450.00 tickets.

Tatters —

Was expecting a link somewhere to this. Front row center, under the arm pits? An event package?

Seriously, could please add a link to where this is from? Not a complaint, more curious as to the coming price structure. May need to call my mortgage broker.

I think that's the Pre-Show Schmooze With Jack package.

I really do hope they make efforts to play larger venues so that a wider group of people can see their show. There will be an opportunity to see the band are reasonable prices if they play festivals, as has been rumored. This would allow those with the strength or the desperation, to line up early and get a good spot without paying $800+.

The only problem in the US is that McCartney and Tom Petty are already booked at Bonnaroo, and Coachella is in late April, which would appear to rule that out. Ronnie mentioned that they would be starting rehearsals in April, so I can't imagine they would do it - that being said, Coachella could still add one headliner (unless you consider Phoenix a headliner) - anyway, it seems unlikely. That leaves us with Lollapalooza in Chicago, which has not yet announced its 2013 lineup (or started selling tickets). That would be August 2-4.

In Europe, Glastonbury and Roskilde would seem to make the most sense (in terms of the sheer number of attendees), but I am thinking that perhaps Hard Rock Calling (to be held at the New Olympic Park).

Bjornulf is a great guy, but that is really too much credit.

I would like to add a big thank you to Björnulf to keep us updated. June would be bad for me, but it's my fault to make plans ahead when the Stones are rumoured to tour.

and thank you also for keep this thread as a track to the concerts and NOT to any other discussions.

bv, great news if the stones will be back on stage soon.
but for one time i disagree with you about the 60 euros saving per year.....
this is not my concept anymore, it shouldn't work like that.
anyway, hope we will have some great gigs soon, with max. springsteen prices....

so, seems like for Europe only a big show in London, and noshows in Amsterdam??

Maybe Paris also.

what a drag..

and i dont agree with BV, his calculation.

If i have to pay 400 euros for one show, its too much for me. even though i havent seen them since 2007.

well, i just have to buy the DVD then.

Wait and see. I don't belive they will go so dozens of cities around the world and just one in Europe. 400 euros for a >40.000 people stadium show-very unlikely.

Where did bv talk about London or Paris for 2013? He did mention London in his posts here but it was in reference to the 2012 shows. Reading his post below it seems he doesn't have any info on concert plans for Europe :

Quote
bv
I never said anything about Europe. In fact, as far as I know, The Rolling Stones performed in Europe less than three months ago. And I have to say one thing very clearly. Don't expect them to stop on your doorstep. If you live in Europe, then London is less than two hours flying with a budget airliner ticket. I would not say that was your last chance, in Europe, but don't save your money until all the shows are all over. There might not be hundreds, there might no be dozens. Some for sure, but not every city every country.

Mick is celebrating 70 years bithday this summer. Keith ditto later this year. This is a band with average age 70 years or so now. If you expect a lot of shows then may be you have forgotten about this.

Ticket prices:
Many here can not read. I am not interested in having this "too expensive for me" discussion here. Please respect this. Worst case I would have to close posting access to people who do not respect this very very basic request.

Rumours:
To all of you who are in it for the real updates, I will give as much info as I can without scooping myself. One of the Oscar winners tonight sort of confirmed the Stones at Glastonbury, on Mick's wish list for a long time. I will do this little by little here. Keep this summer for the Stones, if you care to see them once more live some place in the world.

You tell them bv,if they can't afford whatever Mick and Keith want to charge us,they should not be here,l mean its not every day you get to see 70 year old men, pretending to be 20,wearing skinny jeans. This is the opportunity of a lifetime..Love you Mick and Keith......

So, we should be ready for the next tour...

Where was that, I only remember a band meeting in March?

Last week at L'Wren Scott's LFW party:

Wood arrived at the party accompanied by his new wife, Sally Humphreys, a theater producer. "I have four big paintings to finish before the end of April when we start rehearsing again," said Wood, dropping a hint that The Rolling Stones might take to the road later this year, following their sell-out anniversary tour late last year.

He gave no further details - and only smiled his cheeky smile, saying that he hoped to get to the art studio at his home in Ireland to finish the artwork.

I saw The Rolling Stones in 2006 @ Dodger Stadium in LA. And people told me, that the 'Front-Of-Stage' area cost $500 and the area behind FoS cost about $300. (I had a seat for $100 in that show). I paid for my London concert 246 pounds (about 305 Euro) and had a seat, where I could see the stage complete from front. When they charge in California $500 for a arena concert, then its the same price like 2006. But I hope also for cheaper tix than that.

@bye bye johnny - thanks had missed that, hopefully they enjoyed their latest rehearsal spot in Bondy and will be back there in April!

@bv - thanks for keeping us in the loop and only posting info that you think is reliable! Now who's that oscar winner who mentioned Glastonbury ?! I hear it's all booked up anyway? Might as well shoot for a little vacation in California in June ;-) If I can score a pit ticket I'm going!

But can be more fun too, yes SwayStones? I wish I could travel to London, I would love to build in a real vacation around the Stones, but it's not realistic for me. So, I plan to travel to the nearest city, hopefully NYC again or close by there.

Now who's that oscar winner who mentioned Glastonbury ?!

From a recent interview with Rodriguez, subject of Best Documentary winner "Searching For Sugar Man":

“I [was] on 60 Minutes on the 23rd [of December] and we’re going to play the Glastonbury in England, The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac are the headliners."

Londres : passage obligé, au moins pour un show.
Hope not in a stadium or festival.

Anyway, exciting news, thanks BV!
I look forward some news about Paris or London, or Brussels, Amsterdam........ smileys with beer
