My take on the piano and recorder from Ruby Tuesday. The recorder part on the original is magical and whether or not Brian played the piano on the recording is neither here nor there, I love it. smiling smiley

Is there any definitive word on Brian and the piano part? Any sources?

Beautiful rendition. Brian brought such a different angle to the Stones -- beauty.

Here's my take on Brian's MKII Mellotron flute part from Jigsaw Puzzle. It's a really weird part which involves a lot of use of the pitch control.

You can see the pitch control that Brian would have manipulated for his Mellotron part on Jigsaw Puzzle in this helpful MKII Mellotron control panel guide.

Wonderful stuff, His Majesty! I never realized how finely structured the recorder and piano parts are in regards to the main melody. And how beautifully they fit to the final result.

Bear in mind it's an interpretation rather than a note for note recreation. smiling smiley

Fantastic videos and a beautiful take on Ruby Tuesday - many thanks, HM. If anything could tempt me to become a cog in the Facebook machine, it's pages like yours.

...

Esteban Vinci took my piano and recorder version of Ruby Tuesday and overdubbed vocals and acoustic guitar over it, he also had his friends overdub bass and drums.

Here's the results...

Is it possible to rat on people for posting other people's copyrighted material? Ie I report a page for posting famous photos?

I thought you could only report people if you owned the copyrights yourself?

That's really too bad, Phil sad smiley

I suppose people can report even what they suspect to be copyrighted material.

If some of this stuff is available on the internet, though, I think you may post it on your site - if you link to where it was originally posted (but I'm not 100% sure).

I Doubt it's them because my youtube channel and all of it's videos featuring ABKCO era recordings is still there.

Maybe it alerted them though.

Very frustrating, had all the photo albums nicely worked out, location, dates etc.

Which of the sites had the most fans, FB or YT? Might be they went for the most popular site first...

Facebook, but it was only something 570 likes.

They are known for just taking pages down with no warning or explanation. I guess the youtube process is more drawn out.

I'm sorry too, Philip. I "liked" your FB page and always enjoyed everything you posted. It's a shame that all your hard work is gone. Maybe there's a way to get them to change their minds. Have you been in contact with anyone there?

Just "copyrighted material" as the reason.

Heh, thing is I was in contact with people associated with some of the photographers through that page, trying to get get details about photos, locations etc. Some replied some didn't, perhaps that might have something to do with it.

All in the name of research. grinning smiley

I don't know too much about it, but if you create a closed group instead of a page, it seems to me that this can maybe prevent some unexpected reports.

It's a shame your page have been turned down, I liked it and enjoyed every post on it (the Let it Bleed photographs were awesome).
