The Rinsed-out Blonde On My Left
Posted by: lazzzybones ()

One of the Stones greatest blues tunes,"The Spider And The Fly".
In 1964 she was common, flirty, she looked about 30.
In 1995 she was nifty, thrifty, she looked about 50. (Stripped)
What would she be in 2013 if Mick chose to sing it again.
She was cagey, shady she looked about 80 perhaps?
Any suggestions?

Woops! Overlooked the words for 50. OK, at this point I don't think he'll go as high as 60 anyway, judging from his current relationship. So let's try:

she was sordid, sporty, looked about forty....

Yeah, well I suppose getting the "come-on" from an 80 old chick at one of his gigs ain't gonna do much for him, even if she liked the way he held the microphone.

Being that the Stones are almost 70 they may be looking for a younger girl..

SO ----" She was common, flirty and looking out for my money"! haha.

Might as well age-adjust the whole song. Here's the first verse;

Sittin',thinkin',leakin',dribblin',
Wondrin' what I'll do when I'm thru tonight
Smokin',chokin',maybe just hopin'
Some little crone will shuffle on by,
Dont wanna be alone but I left my teeth at home,
I can't remember what she said.
