Ian Stewart was in the Ronnie Lane Band on the Rockpalast performance from 1980 that was just released on CD and DVD. His boogie-woogie piano stylings are all over it. So, if you're a Stu fan, check it out.

Brilliant. Great this has been released. Stew was a wonderful player, and its clear Laney loved having him onstage with this band.

Ronnie Lane made an album with Pete Townshend in 1977 and good 'ol Charlie played on a track or two. Ir's actually a great album!

Wow, Stu is nice and high up in the mix here, unlike on the Checkerboard DVD and other Stones-related releases! Probably one of the best sources to really get a clear idea of his feel within a rock n' roll band framework...
