Yeah 10 years down the road always seems a lifetime away but I think that this time it really is going to be tough for the Stones to be still alive and kicking on stage in ten years, especially Keith...but who knows.

I hear the album they're planning to release to coincide with the 60th Anniversary is to be called either "An Older Bang" or "A Diamond Bang".
But the Queen had a 10-year head start.

that kind of begs the question, though, of WHY they would do that.
Why not really go out on top? Get 2013 done with, perhaps a final really, really good studio album as a send off, and take well deserved bows.
What's wrong with that scenario?
it's that part about a really, really good studio album...
They could - if they reissued Tattoo You with a different cover and title.
