I play guitar but have never really progressed from my amatuer status. Need to spend more time practicing although I only play for fun anyway.

Anyone fancy a jam session?

I think I've bust a button on my trousers....

Hi Perosand,

Your music has the flavour of Bob Dylan and it sounds well produced. Good luck with it!

I play guitar, but I have only been playing for a little over two years. I'm not bad though. I play alot of Stones and Beatles and other classic rock. I would be better, but I can't find anyone to play with. Just play by listening to the cds and playing along.

It's always a good idea to play music with other people - even if you or they aren't very good. You will usually find one or more of them can show you things to play and you can return the favour.

Start at your local guitar shop and put an advert out about yourself - there will always be other people who are in the same situation as you!

Ian.

Yeah Stikkyfinger, there is one guy I play with and I have learned alot from him, but I just don't get the chance to play with him that often, I will have to try to put my name out at a music store. Thanks again.

If one wanted to make some statistics, I think we would have

1. Lots of Keiths / MTs / RWs
2. Some BWs and CWs
3. We would even have harp players, sax and piano players.

BUT

4. Only 1 (one) MJ (yep, Sticky Fingers, you are the only one if I'm not wrong)

This is also personal experience: after quite a few months of hard work my band was ready for a super hot come back. One of the hardest tasks was finding a decent singer (not a HM, grunge, Thrash Metal, hardcore metal, folk, pop, ska, singer, a ROCK and ROLL singer). Ok right now at only one week from the show date, our singer is missing in action. Only a SMS saying "I will not be able to sing next thursday, sorry".

Why is SO hard to find a SINGER in the faschion of the most popular front man in the world, the sexiest singer in show biz etc etc.???

I am a singer and also a rhythm guitarist on the acoustic. ErTwin and Esky can tell you more about it, they've heard me rock live (Memorex).

Fenway Park in Boston might actually be the real deal
Posted by: Bob Tamp ()
Date: March 12, 2005 23:35

Someone on Rocks Off is reporting that Jagger is on the cover of the Boston Courant, a magazine for neighborhoods. The cover says R.S. to play Fenway on possibly 8-21-05 and 8-23-05. The concerts may be need to be approved so there is no guarantee. It just seems there may be more to this Fenway rumor than meets the eye.
Since I am only 35 minutes away from Fenway, bring it on.
