it wasnt Led Zeppelin, but the band's crew. Location was the Edgewater Inn in Seattle and the fishy in the dishy in question was a mudshark. See the "Hammer of the Gods" book for more.
The incident was immortalised in the Mudshark suite on the Mothers' great "Fillmore East June 1971" live album
