It's already out in Japan (since Dec. 19) and Germany (since today).

Bonus on both: 5-min. making-of, interview with the director (10 min.), trailer
and most notably Satisfaction and I'm Alright from Münster September 11,
1965, 1st show (plus 40 seconds from the arrival there).

Additional bonus on the Japanese DVD is a third track from Münster
(Around And Around).

These 'bonus' cuts, are they ones already seen on Charlie is My Darling?

Well, me buying it or not was hinging on what bonus features were included because I found the documentary to be so mediocre. If these are the features, I am extremely disappointed. Maybe it'll have a $10 price tag.

I see the movie today.
Great Movie with many rare Parts of the history.
I'm a younger fan (born 1983) ... at some scenes I was Shocked ...

But the Movie is great

I've received the English version this friday on blu ray. It's a little dissapointed to read just now that the Japanese version has one bonus track more.

Can anyone explain why the Japanese get more on their version?

Japanese CD/DVD releases often carry an extra bonus basically
so the Japanese customer buys the Japanese product ....keeps the Yen in the country

Oddly it's been in shops in England since last week. I bought a copy of the blu ray from Fopp on Wednesday. I was surprised to see it for sale.

I'm thinking that too. Saw it at the cinema and then recorded it off the telly. The extras would have been enough if they'd actually been extensive. Sod it I'll probably buy it anyway.

If this were the case wouldn't every country have bonus tracks?

It´s because of japanese import/export laws and taxes, I think.

Normaly no, Japan is region A. Europe is region B (it's different with dvd's: both Europe and Japan are region 2), but what I hear about this one, it's a region free blu ray, so no problem at all.

agree, I recorded the piece when it was shown on BBC2 and watched it very thoroughly. It is a great piece of history and they pay a lot of respect to Brian Jones and Mick Taylor.

Why is that?

Saw it at the cinema in Oct, and on the BBC. True, its a nice Document, but its a shame it ends in 1982.!!!!. Im not gonna buy it, cause i can use the money for upcoming Stones shows.

It was great they showed a lot of brian. Its not a masterpiece in my opinion, and Not that exciting i think.

I respect it, if people think different. i wint miss it from my Stones collection, that what i meant.

Just watched it on TV, guess that I expected something better, a few clips that I had not seen but over all not overly impressed, glossed over everybody except Jagger and Richards.

Does the main film have a scene selection and what Paris 76 night is You Gotta Move from?

Re: 'Crossfire Hurricane' Released Monday

It's a nice historical document with the modern interviews, but its ending in 1982 is maddening. The first twenty years have been documented to death - I hope one day the Post-82 era gets the same treatment, it would be far more new and interesting for die hards. Perspectives on the Dirty Work turmoil, WW3, the 'reunion' in 89, the constant touring in the 90s, on and on...it will probably never happen while Mick is alive though, and thus would never really happen at all properly. 25x5 is the gold standard.

At the end of this film my first thought was why end at 1982. The 60s went on solng I thought it was going to be a 4 hour movie.
