Sympathy for the devil question

Did the Stones played Sympathy for the Devil in the 72/73 tour? I don`t have it in any of my boots.

The press always claimed this was due to what happened at Altamont but considering Hunter was murdered during 'Under My Thumb', not Sympathy', this didn't make a lot of sense.

Not true. They played it in Newcastle, 04-03-1971 (2nd show)

Unfortunately the 1971 Tour is one of the great mysteries.....very few recordings exist.

I thought HTW and MR were available from Newcastle. I've not heard them.

These songs are in fact available, but that's about it..........
