I have seen elsewhere the comment about no Australian dates. Hard to believe with the promoter being from there but then it's not up to him. None of this is definitive. But a few pieces from here, a few from there, and possibly some lacing together can be done. Thanks for this. Yeah, extreme hearsay, but if enough other pieces come in, then maybe it tends to be supportive of some view.

Thanks very much JoT. Arenas vs. stadiums aside, can you help out with where/when it's apt to start rolling from? Over what period of time — a slowboat or a speedboat? Some here are having anxiety attacks over tripping themselves by making plans that may have to be cancelled in deference to catching this tour.

Not from the horse's mouth, but I just heard from someone who works at the venue that an MSG date in April is a "virtual certainty". Granted, he's not an exec or anything but that does seem to be the word on 34th St, so take it for what it's worth.
I can't really see them doing another NYC stand so soon, but it IS the Stones and it IS New York, so it's not really inconceivable.

Sorry to barge in between all horse images...
My friend worked in the stage crew for the 12.12.12 concert, and the general word backstage was a 2013 RS 20-city US Tour is pretty much a go.
He's been in the r'n'r tour business for 35 years so he is a trust-worthy source...
So pretty much what all of us here expecting,

Sorry, don't have any details... should follow previous tour patterns I guess, perhaps with multiple dates in each city.
I got the same info from another source in the industry who is "bidding" on the logistics/shipping for the tour.. (they know I'm a fan so they keep giving me updates)...
