No one has suggest Keith has played on Winter? Ha ha. There's always confusion somewhere. Why, Keith plays on Saint Of Me... live.
Mathijs did.
According to Taylor, he played the whole show.Quote

I thought Mick Taylor played the whole show at KC in 1981? I must be wrong as this would seem impossible and risky for many reasons - would have loved to
Witness it though no matter what the outcome!
He came on after a few songs.

The bootleg I have is 2hrs 16min, and he says he played for about 2 hrs 30min.
Start at about 6:45 in the interview:

This has been addressed in different threads threads on this site.
You can hear his slide on HTW (after YCAGWYW).

If the KC show was recorded in soundboard quality, this would be an obvious choice for release. I would love to have it.

The Worst.
Bill Wyman has stated that Kansas City 1981 was a terrible show, the worst on the entire tour in fact.
I can also recall Keith complaining about the sound, especially regarding Mick Taylor who apparently played way too loud.
I can't see why they would choose to release this show as an official bootleg if they themselves are convinced it was a poor effort.

The Worst.
For me, personally, the show sounds OK.
But I have a bootleg from this show called Crossfire Hurricane, soundbard recording
with great artwork. In the booklet inside, there is a quote by Bill Wyman
from an interview where he talks about this very concert.
I don't have it in front of me now, but he basically slates the show and calls it the worst on the tour.
