Well. .. I am currently on travel in Thailand and around me. Phuket, Ko phi phi, Krabi. . It is avarage temperature of 36° a bit windy. But better than in Holland. . Take care all'

Funny! I was just in Thailand and Sri Lanka for a month. Phuket, Krabi, and Bangkok. Now Michigan is set to get slammed by another, albeit milder, Polar Vortex. Yikes!

It's somewhere along the Thames valley in Surrey (not my picture). We have had downpour after downpour ever since November, and all the rivers in South East England are overflowing and flooding low-lying fields and riverside properties (not mine - I'm on slightly higher ground). This is the M3 motorway where it crosses the Thames near Staines - most of the Thames Valley looks like this although it is starting to go down a bit now. We are OK in Richmond because the Thames is tidal here and we're protected by the Thames Barrier, but there's an impressive speed and volume of water coming down under Richmond Bridge. Pity we can't export some of it to where it's needed.

What a mess...stay dry.

Cool is right, Ming...it was 0 degrees here this morning. Record cold temps all over the area the past few days, with 5 - 6 inches of snow on the ground. No school all week, too cold even for my boy dog...he comes to the back door whining and picking up his frozen paws. Staying sane with course work on a diet of tea and chocolate...ugh.

Been watching my family & friends get hammered in New York. Safe driving & warmth to all & your pets!

It snowed here all afternoon. Here being northern Louisiana, where that's not supposed to happen! This winter has killed a lot of the tropical plants in my yard, which also usually doesn't happen.

We're lovin' the 70-80 degree days here in sunny So. Cal. but gloom & doom is forecast for upcoming drought since we're not getting our usual rainy season storms.

60F (15c)degrees yesterday, 10F (-12c)this morning? High of only 15F today?? Really?
This is like a prank, where are the hidden cameras? Oh yeah, they are everywhere.

Cold weather continues here and the flu is bad now too. Lots of people in waiting rooms with face masks on. It's not too late for a flu shot, if you haven't gotten one yet.

Spring will be most welcome this year...

Next month I'm going to South Africa for a business trip ............it's summer out there 27^oC...must not forget my shorts and sleeve less shirts..............

It is appropriate to mention that the great Stones song Winter fits Chicago weather the past month or so. Extreme cold record mark might be shattered tonight. It's a balmy zero F early afternoon today.

Could be possible to piss out ice cubes tonight...

Factoring in the windchill we expect to be -20°F by the Great Lakes today. We have so much global warming piled up in the sidewalk, drives and streets we are running out of places to put it.

Right now....according to my weather ap, it is...

61F (16c) in LA
18F (-8c) in NY
64F (18c) in Melbourne
63F (17c) in Tel Aviv
43F (6c ) in London

...and that's the bluzdude weather report..

Wellthere is way below normal rain/snow in Northwest of the US, ie Seattle. Every time I look at web cams from London there is rain and more rain! Want to do a trip there but might have to wait until April for a sunny day.

Yep, same here. Woke up to more snow on the ground and my car and I need to get to work. Brushing off the car while the wind blows it all in your face...can't wait.

Meanwhile, Atlanta is paralyzed by 3 inches of snow and ice. A friend said at midnight there was still bumper to bumper traffic on the main roads. If you're in the deep south, stay safe inside!
