Worldwide above average temps for winter and spring has caused a lot of confusion for Americans in the Northeast, like in Michigan, where it was quite cold this winter. "There's no global warming because it's freezing cold here!" I heard from some people.

Although it's true it was colder elsewhere in the world in the places it was winter the same time it was in Michigan etc, the point they missed was it was considerably above average... except for where they were.

Not that it matters. Life goes on.

The pier is scenic as well. Seems like there should be a fisherman out there reeling. I'm not sure what kind of fish or seafood is available there.

Been using 14-5-14 Florikan this year. Haven't used Osmocote for years - no need for plastic in my gardens.

Is Florikan good for bushes ( small outdoor plants)and trees such as palms? Also I did not know that the 13-3-13 contained polymers.

Yes it is. Any of their products are good, it just depends on what you want out of it. I use it on everything except bromeliads.

Yes it had been a relatively wet winter, and evidently we're now out of the drought?
But since Spring has arrived it's been pretty close to perfect, and according to local weatherman Dallas Raines of KABC news, there might be no rain for the rest of the season.
Sort of feel bad for him as he gets totally excited when a storm's a brewing, and looks a bit bored when the weather constantly perfect, but maybe he should have thought about that before becoming a weatherman in SoCal.
