That storm went through here at about 4 a.m. on Thursday- didn't last very long but it was a rough couple of hours and there were a few trees down in London too. But as it moved across the North Sea it got much worse and Holland got hit hard.

Post the link under tomorrow's Drumcondra sunrise photo and I'll be true to my word! Don't know what it is, but you've CONSISTANTLY got some of the best sunrises! I wish I could compete but, right now anyway, my and Jagger's morning walk is taking place well before sunrise.

Side note for anyone whose eyebrows raised at the name of my walking companion: The breeder we got our German Shepherd puppy from last fall, had named him Mick Jagger before we ever met him. Although it wasn't the only reason we chose to bring him home with us, it was the reason that we chose to hop in our car and drive 45 minutes to meet him!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Louisiana is having its second warmest February ever - and it's most likely to be the warmest February ever. It's been in the 80s for most of the month. Average high temp is the low to mid 60s.

Today we have one meter i.e. more than 3 feet of heavy show where I live in Asker outside Oslo Norway. I spent 4 hours Sunday and 2 hours Monday moving away snow from the roof of my house, garage, and other areas where tons of snow might break down constructions. In between this I try to catch up with all the rumoured tour dates, booking hotels, updating IORR etc. Busy days. I have snow barriers of 1.60 meters i.e. 5 feet all over so we hardly see anything over these hills around. Snow record in may be 30 years, and we may do cross country skiing until May I think.

I kinda figured you were OK and my offer would be moot but I'll stand by it if ever necessary!

As I walked Jagger this morning (5:20-6:50 a.m.) my skies were a boring black although we did have some pretty colors as I drove to the office. Maybe one day I'll be able to walk down and get a colorful sky above Watts Bar Lake to share with y'all. It won't hold a candle to Drumconda though, as it far more resembles a river than a lake where we're at. We actually refer to it as a river.

Peace,
Mr DJA
