Heavy Santa Ana winds sweeping southern California.
(From wiki: The Santa Ana winds are strong, extremely dry down-slope winds that originate inland and affect coastal Southern California and northern Baja California.)

Massive fire in Anaheim (down by Disneyland) due to radical winds...houses burning, evacuations...chaos. Up where I live apprx. 100 mile north, winds are also blowing heavily... trees swaying, branches breaking, plants blown off balcony ledge, sand from beach make's it look like a dust storm in the desert, and all around chaos and havoc, yet thankfully no fires on our surrounding hillsides as of yet...knock on wood.

Same here - UK social media is full of pictures of ominous dark skies, weird orange light and a red sun. It's said to be a combination of Sahara sand and smoke/ash from forest fires in Spain, swept up by Hurricane Ophelia on her way north to devastate Ireland.

According the weather channel we don't have clouds but the sky is completely grey/yellow and the temperature is 2 till 4 degrees lower then normal.

Another damn heatwave starting today in Southern California -it's supposed to reach a sweltering 93 F down in L.A. tomorrow, and about 5-10 degrees "cooler" near the beaches.
Some may say "lovely weather you're having" and yes it is, but come on man...summers been long over!!!
