Mayor tells those not evacuating for hurricane to put Social Security numbers on arms so they can be identified later...






It is not that the wind is blowing 90mph...
it is WHAT the wind is blowing 90mph.

And the wind is not the most dangerous part, water/storm surge is.


4 HOURS LATER THE EYE MAKES LANDFALL
Looks like a direct hit on Rockport, the mayor's advice might be needed

Somehow after all these years of doom and gloom hurricane scaring every year... and them tracking hurricanes 3 weeks away in the mid Atlantic... and telling everyone the big bad hurricane is coming to kill everyone... then there was not much hurricane damage... but...

Somehow Hurricane Harvey did not get much attention until last few days... and still it was not supposed to be this big... then it blew up in to a Cat4 hurricane and is now decimating the Texas gulf coast with 130mph winds.

That area is getting hit hard right now. It is going to be an ugly Saturday morning... and they say it may do a U-turn and could turn around and hit em again and again... and they are talking rain for 20-40 inches.

They are saying Harvey may hang out for day and days... dang... this sucks.

A lot of channels on Youtube are live streaming,
from mainstream media like the weather channel or this TV station...
to some batshitcrazy streamers you can find on your own by searching... [www.youtube.com]

Absolute disaster in Houston right now. Massive rains and flooding going on.
They have gotten 25 inches of rain in the last couple of days and it is still raining. TV stations themselves are flooding, vehicles all over the city are stranded, exit roads are flooded, and it is getting worse. 2nd floors are now getting water as people are heading for roofs. The TV people are actually suggesting going on roof instead of the attic unless people take an ax with them so they do not get stuck.

And it is still raining.
And they say the hurricane itself is going to swing back around and hit the city on Thursday.

It is a catastrophe

Now they are saying the 7 day rain totals could be 40-70 inches (100-180 cm) of rain by Sept 2.
This is going to be worse than catastrophic... Houston is already flooded beyond belief

its all said back then in the 70's.. climate would change if we dont change thigns..

we didnt change things... so now we got big flouds, dries.. permafrost melting...

after regaining strength and hits Houston like they are saying it will, it is going to be... very very bad.



I read a very very sad post from a guy who said was doing OK, and his house was OK, but then they had to release some water from the too full reservoirs and it flooded him... he said something like "They came by 2 hours ago and told us we had to evacuate because the water was coming, and I asked where can we go? The whole city flooded". "I have no place to go" "Where do they think we can go" "they just said you have to go, but they didn't say where we should go" "I have no where to go" My home is destroyed"

It hurts my heart and soul...
