Thoughts on the Audio of 12/15

Finally got this and listened. Thanks to a certain unnamed archeologist who found this ancient recording
My first thoughts are that the songs are played expertly and precisely but lack Stonesy "about to fall of the cliff" energy.
I truly appreciate that they seemed to slow the tempos of tunes they might have rushed in the past, but it lacks excitement due to precision at times.
