Tell you what - there are days this feels like the coolest, weirdest, hottest, funkiest, most mysterious song of the era - so much happening in this song

Love it..Yes i do!!!

One of my top 5 Stones albums and F.F. is one cool track.

In fact my 11 and 13 year olds were with me in the car over the weekend and i hit
the mute button by accident and the song came on..

In stead of turning it off i just left it on..Well both boys loved it...Sounded very cool to them,

Anyway i do like it more on record then when it was done live...GREAT TRACK.
Its also one of the best album ending Stones songs ever...

terrific song.

Only ever played live in 1975 - with a pretty unique set up of instruments

Wyman on synth, Woody on bass (the only song in the band's live history where they would play these instruments on stage) and, if I'm not mistaken, the first song featuring Jagger on guitar in concert (electric guitar anyway)

Yes...undoubtedly so.

It's a masterpiece on IORR, on Love You Live, and on LA Friday.

Great track, great song, and great lyrics.

I was very happy with the remaster. It sounds much clearer..

You can hear every note...Twfno, If you need to be my friend and F.F. sounds even clearer..
Luxury really pops...It sounds less muddy.. Love it even more...

The entire album remastered imo sounds better...You will LOVE it..

Depending on which remaster. The one from the 90s is by far the best to my ears.

Also the last year SACD reissue of IORR features the original master tape version of Fingerprint File which runs at normal speed. Worth getting as well.

Is it possible that a thread on IORR could go a full page with everyone 100% in agreement on something? Is this a sign of end of days? just 3 days away?

I've never warmed to this song. Hearing it for the first time in a long time, it sounds very dated - and it drags on. As far as solid grooves, they did far better later in the '70s (Dance, Turning to Gold, Slave).
