Try Goodfellas and Casino. They're awesome. Scorsese rules. Check also "Blow" and maybe even "Basquiat" (Starring David Bowie as Andy Warhol......Great flick. It also has the Keef single recording of "The Nearness Of You").

I'll start it off with The Big Chill
You Can't Always Get What You Want
You don't even have to watch much of the movie to hear the track...

Coming Home is a movie about Vietnam veterans in which a couple of Stones songs are played. In once scene one of the guys injects himself with an empty needle (air in blood -> death). During this scene a Stones song is played, very intense, I believe it's Sympathy.

Apocalypse Now Redux. The scene where a soldier is surfing after the armyboat while the radio is playing "Satisfaction". Totally awesome. I get goosebumps every time I see that sequence.

Goodfellas is a great one for stones songs, also blow and the fan. Another one I like is the Royal Tananbeums (not spelled right), She Smiled Sweetly and Ruby Tuesday.

Dear America: Letters Home From Vietnam

"Gimme Shelter" plays as helicopters fly into battle- eery, explosive, sad...and they probably did play it over there in 69-70

Rockman is correct. I’d say I was the size of Bobby Keys but now I hope to be a lot slimmer by the summer , maybe not like Mick but certainly healthier. I already feel 100% better...

Watch "Fallen" with Denzel Washington and John Goodman. The movie is about a demon that keeps singing "Time is on my side", as he slips in different persons... Creepy movie.

I just watched The Devil's Advocate the other day, and I really liked the use of Paint It, Black in it. I think it might be my new favorite use of the stones on a soundtrack.

Get well soon bassaleman!

I know there are no Rolling Stones in it but Trainspotting has a great soundtrack!

And as you've got time on your hands (lucky sod) then Casino is also a must.

The big chill has been mentioned but I think it may be the most poinent because it's not just backgound music. It is presented as the last request of the deceased and is played during some very moving scenes around the funeral and ties into the dialog....so it's part of the story.

The only guy that did not AGWYW was Kevin Costner, played the dead guy but was cut from the final movie.
