Shouldn't it be "break a string"?
OK, I've read a few posts here about Springsteen, and I don't get the hate. Seriously, I'm not a big fan, own none of his albums, and he has a few songs that annoy me. Keith was partly right when he said that his music was "too overblown". But his catalogue is so vast, it's peppered with good and great songs. He's a hell of a performer, and it's mostly just rock 'n roll. And as far as appreciating the Stones, he's covered them on a number of occasions. There's an awful version of Street Fighting Man floating around somewhere from the '80s. I'm not trolling for Bruce haters, but many seem to put him in the same league as Lady Gaga, and he deserves better for sure.
I saw several smiles and looks between them on videos from the December 13 concert. Also thought, Mick seemed to rely on Keith more again. The relationship seemed to have loosened up. But then there are people that were in the Trabendo, who said, there were already lots of smiles between them at that time. I, based on the videos, first noticed some kind of change for the December 13 show.
I like the picture of the band and Gaga on the first page of this thread. Everybody seems so genuinely happy, and especially Keith looks like he fell into the fountain of youth from Pirates 4. He, and also Charlie, seems almost to glow from inside!
I voted for Rip This Joint - last time I saw them play that was at Earls Court in '76 also the 1st time I saw em lol

Lets get ready to get set to get it on......
People for the first time ever we are all in this together....unbelievable
I've got all my favourite snacks in, some great meat and seafood for the BBQ.
It starts at 3pm local time for me and is repeated at 8:30pm so it's a great afternoon and into the evening.
My wife is putting on her finest rock wear, i'm enjoying the spectacle and the sounds are already echoing from the Big system in the lounge room. 1hr 35mins to go

We (UK) are seeing some "llops" of footage from the band memebers on the red carpet at the Crossfire Premiere in Leicester Square, the Paris warm up gig and some vids amongst the reminders how to pay for the event.

Ordered on Sky TV in the UK - HD for £9.95.
It's currently 1.35 a.m. (on the 16th) and I'm flagging......I appear to be able to record it via Sky+.......but can't bring myself to go to bed because I want to watch live!
I know it should be alcohol but I feel a strong coffee coming on!
