Ditto - it's a fab song. It was a 'B' side I think but I can't remember which song was the 'A' side....

Ian.

A-side was IORR.

Lonely Nights was GHS outake. Exquisite solo.

Real feeling in Jagger's voice unlike the IORR ballads, (fake).

Keith on bass me-thinks.

I have a homemade B-sides CD. It has: Let it rock, through the lonely nights,
everything is turning to gold, when the whip comes down (live 78), if I was a dancer, beast of burden (live 81), think im going mad, fancy man blues, cook cook blues, play with fire (live 90), 2000 light years from home (live 90). So it's quite a nice little thing to have even though it's not official.

To what A-side was "If I was a dancer" a B-side?

And you missed off Sex Drive.

Thanks to all of those who sent me the MP3 of that lovely song..
Taylors' guitar weeps so warm and Keith's sound is great too.
I'm gonna put the best version on rockpassion .

Kent would love to have a copy of your mix, you want to make a trade for it.

TTLN is probably my fave b-side of the Stones. Wonderful tune. Apparently it was rehearsed at the SF Fillmore rehearsals 1/99 - too bad they didn't attempt it live - although it's definitely a song that demands an MT presence...

Also rehearsed in Toronto 1997.

I only have it on CD Bassplayer. I think it's the version you're talking about. I can't send it via internet.

"If I was a Dancer" was on "Sucking in the Seventies". I can't recall it ever being a B-Side of anything.

"If I Was A Dancer" was never a B side. However there's a promo 12" with "Dance Pt. 1" on the A side and "Dance (instrumental)" on the B side. The instrumental version on the B side was only available on this promo.
