With the wand metal detectors it is hard.
BUT... it appears they are allowing in small cameras to these shows and even better, letting people use them... thus the plethora of great pictures and videos coming from the 3 shows so far

The effect of wand metal detectors is purely psychological. Any less metal in your camera than a firearm or samuri sword, you should be fine.

They are looking for guns and dangerous items not cameras. Just keep camera keys bile etc in your hands when they scan, and you will be fine normally. Happened in London. Happened in Brooklyn. You are supposed to be able to bring home your private pictures no problem these days. Same at the 121212 last night at the MSG. You can't stop smartphones, and you can't stop small cameras.

At the entrence to the floor level of the O2 there was no check what so ever except for a quick scan of your ticket, no scan for camera's, telephones, drugs or whatever.
