After months of speculation, The Black Crowes return to the live concert stage with five special shows - billed by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson as "All Join Hands" - at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom beginning March 22. These concerts mark the first shows by the band since October 31, 2001.

The return of the Yiddish Rolling Stones!

Their respective solo efforts certainly didn't set the world on fire. I saw Chris Robinson's band and, had I been him, I'd have fired his sound engineer after the first set. The house guy cleaned up the audio 100% for the second set but their music, including a few choice covers, was atonal and turgid.

The Black Crowes are cool.
