A surprise Bell Boy!!!! Awesome song. Much better than Who Are You. I love Who Are You but its become the like Miss You retire it live!!!!

A nice surprise. Roger is struggling with singing. Pete is just laying down some rocking leads.

Pinball Wizard now.

It's odd that they are doing the Moonie thing tonight. I always love that song tho.
hihi, Daltrey is dancing.
I kind of liked his singing on "Who R U". He seems to be saving his voice.

Bell Boy is the wrong song for this venue. Audience suddenly died. All momentum stalled.

The Who, are quite boring and Daltry can barely sing in tune.

Too bad...Pete's ok.

They shouldn't have been given 30 minutes.

Ok Pinball...that's 4 songs, what else do they have? Athena? Pictures of Lilly?

Oh yeah--See Me, Feel Me, which would be perfect for the occasion. They'll end on that one for sure. Like at the Olympics.

Daltrey sounds a little better on Pinball Wizard still not great though. The band has picked it up and I can hear Pete now.

Stoes did pretty well. Keef is back

I really have a soft spot for the Who. They always rocked every show I've seen. I really miss John Entwistle. Hands down the best bass player ever.

They have been through a lot and keep on comin.

Pinball sounds good - Bell Boy was ok, but probably not best choice for this show.

See Mee Feel Me always great for stuff like this.

Agreed about Pete. he always attcks that guitar. he does this kind of horizontal thing: sort of lays it on his raised leg, and then beats it. hard.
In "Being Mick" there is a great sequence when Pete comes in to overdub some guitar on "Gun", and he is warming up in a studio; also beating it.

So far the Who is not wowing me like they did 11 years ago. I can't hear Pete!!!

Same here, even with cans...ah that should be better. Who's that second guitar player? Did they have one in 2001?

That's Pete's brother Simon.

Only if they do 5:15, where they have Entwistle taped in with a bass solo. But that would slow down this kind of event.

talking to a fairly well-known guitarist yesterday - he said about townsend - "he's the only guy to truly play the guitar like a f---ing man"

Yeah Roger didn't sound good on Who Are You, but he redeemed himself on See Me Feel Me.

I saw Daltrey last year sing Tommy and he sounded much better than he does this year. Does the acoustoc guitar he strums really add anything??

He sounded great at the show I saw in November. They just did their 20th show of the tour 3 days ago. Daltrey should have had enough rest for this set.
