YGMR was a poor choice to open with from a catalogue as good as theirs - the crowd didnt know it. Performance was up and down a bit...took Mick a while to get going, I thought.
JJF however was much more like it. Really strong performance by all of them.

They killed it. The band Was laughing about it. Mick was sarcastic. They had attitude. The mix was superb. The goove they had was deep in the pocket.

Three months back, such a "guest appearance" would have been seen as unlikely and many would say ill-advised. Tonight, after two solid shows at the O2 the 'Stones give us another breath of R&R air when, by all accounts, they should be isolated and separated from such a star-studded event. Not bad for 70 years old, or nearly. Faawk!
