If you're talking the last one where every track is a keeper, and no filler tracks at all....I would have to say Some Girls.
Before that Goats Head Soup and IORR had all keepers.

Some Girls is a pretty good album but so is Black and Blue, I still like that album. For how its produced for example; good sound.
But the last truly great one was Goats Head Soup. Just for the melancholy...Keith singing about what happened...they reflect and that gives an interesting and very warm sound. Next to personal stories it's also interesting to hear their musical development on this one, it's an album that really has a lot inside.
A true great one.

I think Undercover fits the bill, especially for an album that wasn't made up of a bunch of leftovers. With that said love both Tattoo You and Some Girls 'deluxe disc'

The last Truly Great Stones album? Hmm. I like several songs on Steel Wheels. I may have to say Steel Wheels if only because i find "Almost hear you sigh" to be truly great. Hold on to your hat is pretty great too. Pretty rocking. I guess i'll go Steel Wheels.

For me the last great Stones album as a creative force was UNDERCOVER. BRIDGES TO BABYLON is the only thing since that has come close to being creative.
