Gotta be Moms. Better voice than Rihanna. Better looking, too.

I can't see Dolly joining them - BUT, I could see like an Emmylou Harris, or maybe a Lucinda Williams for a slow country number. I hope they don't go the Aerosmith route though and bring along Carrie Underpants.

My vote goes for Pink or Alicia Keys, they would both rock the place.

I am sooooo easy to bait...

Rih's too big, her management will never permit it.

Not because the Stones are too dangerous, but because they're too safe

She did 7 free shows in 7 countries in 7 days without rehearsals,
hard rocking shows actually, then immediately jetted off to party non-stop,
totally against the wishes of everyone from Oprah on down, for 5 days
with "dis nigga" CB (tweeted pics from their bedroom). Truth be told, she's the
only real pre-1980 Rolling Stones in existence at the moment.

I think Pink would be a terrible choice almost as bad as would Madonna who I'm suprised has not been mentioned. If Lady GaGa showed up on stage to sing with Mick I would puke. Mariah Carey's got the voice but I just can't see that happening at all. My guess is either Adele or more likely Christina Aguilera neither of whom I would pick although there are certainly much worse choices.

Keith has already telegraphed the answer - Adele

I'm afraid NY/NJ will get Alicia Keys or Beyonce.

The best choice would be Bettye Lavette.

Bettye would kill it, but unfortunately she's probably not considered a big enough name.

How about Ronnie Spector? Old girlfriend of Keith and did great duet with him... And Britney Spears can duet with Mick on Satisfaction...

The Britney Spears line was funny, I'll give you that. Ronnie would be an excellent choice if she can still sing.

Ronnie would be terrific - she is a true legend. People have mentioned Tina Turner in this thread but, to me, what lets down "River Deep Mountain High" is that Tina simply is not as good a singer as Ronnie (or Darlene Love for that matter).

Don't understand why Phil Spector chose Tina to sing on "River Deep".

A collaboration with Dolly would be fascinating - would love to hear her and the Stones do "Jolene".

Emmylou would be interesting too. Emmylou is good at duets... I love her singing with Bob Dylan on "Desire".

(seriously now)
Another fav of mine is Mark Lanegan. His voice is so low it makes Keith's voice sound like a castrato.

Imagine this guy duetting with Mick on GS : no dancing BS but that voice from beyond.
That'd surely be a ominous version... thumbs up

Alicia Keys has already done a version of Gimme Shelter with Keith Urban.

Bring Florence across the Atlantic.

Hell, while they're at it, Shanghai Bill. Let him wake up in NYC. If it was the old days that's what they'd do.

i think we all saw the chemstry that mick and christina agulara have together on stage.....i also think Beyonce is a very strong choice in Brooklyn, essp considering her husbands ties with the barclays center.

Good to hear there's another Mark Lanegan fan here! But I don't think he will work that well with the Stones live. He always stands rock still (like Wyman) with closed eyes. When Queens of the Stone Age once played Precious and Grace with Mark Lanegan and Billy Gibbons as guests, Gibbons tried to involve Lanegan in the performance but got no response what so ever. Looked a bit awkward to be honest. His voice is unbelivable though.

Aretha would be over the top outstanding. As for Joss Stone she did Night Time is the Right Time in Miami 2005. That is something I hope I never see again!
