Any NZer's or Aussie's out there?, Sky not screening "One More Shot" PPV

Scandalous,

SKY TV's decision to not screen the Rolling Stones PPV, which would have screened here live from 3pm Sunday the 16th, great time, few quiets, lovely summers day no doubt......

Because they have decided that the braodcast would compete against there own promotion the night before, the so called "Fight for Life" charity boxing event.

Bollocks, the Stones last played here in 2006, 3 utterly sold out nights, to 160,000 fans with at least that many again wanting to go....Thats nearly 10% of the adult population rabid Stones fans....plus many more new fans as witnessed buy the sales of GRRR!

I'm going to campaign in email and on National Talkback radio to confront Sky and get this decision reversed and the Stones on

Failing this, I put out an appeal to my Australian brothers in arms...can you let me know if their are fan get togethers for a screening party.. if so i'd love to fly over to hang with you..

P.S. I see it's only $29.95 on Foxtel....bargain.

Foxtel have been running ads for it for the last few days. $30 is less than I was expecting, I was bracing for $50-60.

1pm Sunday afternoon is a great timeslot thumbs up
