I was listening to this version of YCAGWYW today and was so impressed by the finesse Keith is displaying. I've not heard him treat the song that carefully in a very long time...he's hitting some fills and nice little ties into the changes so wonderfully...completely right for the mood set by the choir. He usually sloshes through this song and it's always been a skip for me. But with the choir starting it off was such a nice touch.

In response as to whether you should post all the videos of one person - then yes you should!

We need to be able to accumulate the best one for each song.

Please keep adding.

This is an interesting view, probably wont make the list, but it gives some views from outside the O2 and in the hallways... and around 2:03 it shows Mick talking on stage about how they didnt do the Olympics or etc etc... and just inder the wire for the 50th...
btw- what a bunch of malarky theye were trying to spread about incetption date and real 50th anniversay dates etc etc before they they knew they would do these shows..... Oh Mick!

This one really highlights their brilliant performance of Paint It Black....wow! Nice!

Well said. And this particular angle on the vid is cool in that the background screen is rarely gimpsed, so it is not distracting. The minimalist stage setup also puts more focus on the playing, which to me sounds unexpectedly solid throughout.

On the other hand I would suggest limiting it to 5-6 songs (out of 20-25 songs) from one source/person/taper if/when there is only going to be one song in the slot. But if it there is 2-3 songs in the slot it doesnt matter.

I suggest that for 3 reasons
1) If we use too many songs from one source/person/taper (and there is only one song in the slot) and later that one source/person takes down all of their videos ( or they get banned from Youtube ) it would obliterate the list and efforts.

2) There is something cool about the group effort, many people offering up many angles on the concert.... 2-3 videos per song slot is cool.

3) It would be unfortunate if we used too much of one person's videos and then they were to come in and get all upitty about us using their footage without permission... or something.

Of course this only applies to these threads, not to the combiners and DVD makers, they should use the BEST ANGLE... and it doesnt apply if there are 2-3 "BEST" videos per song, but to overweight one person's contribution on a list might be a mistake... or not.... just my 2 cents, to be added to the group's Dollar... or Pound... or Euro.... or something.

I don't see how anyone could get upset about using their footage, isn't amateur recording inside the venue banned anyway?

Wouldnt it be awesome if somehow the Stones themselves became inspired to QUICKLY put together their own excellent footage and excellent sound quality and release something (probably a download) QUCIKLY after a show? That would be awesome!!!


AND... wouldnt it be awesome if other bands saw how happy people are to see videos of the shows they went to (or were unable to go to) and ALL BAND just easily allowed people to do the taping. The bands will get their money, maybe more... not that they really need more money at this point.... rich fkrs

That video of "out of Control" kicks ass. Them charging the tip of the stage is great stuff.
