Listening to the YT clips, you hear every of Taylor's farts. Totally different story.

Why he played like he did? Probably, he thought he had a lot of catching up to do. He was doomed to lose, though, you can't get it all down in one track!

By losing I meant that not everybody would be happy with constant guitar solos on Rambler - and they didn't.

I loved seeing Taylor AND Wyman live on stage.

No, music is no competition, but a matter of taste.
I did love to see Taylor with the Stones on stage once more, a memorable event, but I think he's not the Mick he used to be, same for the rest of the band- apart from Jeff Beck, not a Stone, but at least playing in a rather blatant way. Maybe Mick hired him as a revenge for Keith's tiny todger remark Anyway, the Rolling Stones are like a large and impressive encyclopedia, but I have finished it by now.
