Is this the Stones' setlist for the 02?

Is this the setlist for the 02 shows?

Music site gigwise has published some photos from, I presume, backstage at Wembley Arena where they are currently rehearsing for the upcoming shows. There's a setlist
which includes the following tunes:

She's So Cold
You Got Me Rocking
All Down The Line
Respectable
Tumbling Dice
Honky Tonk Women
Beast Of Burden
Wild Horses
Can't Always Get What You Want
It's All Over Now
Lady Jane
Route 66
Little Red Rooster
Miss You
Not Fade Away
She's So Cold
Start Me Up
Sweet Virginia
Worried About You
Paint It Black
The Last Time
Ruby Tuesday
Midnight Rambler

23 songs. I'd be really happy with that set. Gigwise site below.

"old" pictures from the Paris rehearsals
They now must be rehearsing on the real stage

Yep - their greatest tune. If this is their set then they've obviously been on this site and taking heed of the 'no more warhorses' arguments. No Brown Sugar, no Jumping Jack Flash, no Street Fighting Man, no Gimme Shelter and no Sympathy For The Devil, which, as much as I love it, has been done to death.

If that were the set list (except she's so cold is there twice) I could see Mick T and Bill joining for YCAGWYW through to red rooster, then back on again for the last 2 or 3 songs.

I think I've bust a button on my trousers....

No - the setlist for O2 will probably be closer to the last 2/3 of the last rehearsal in Paris, with older numbers at the beginning. It really sounded like a full show on the 3 or 4 days they did this.

The ones in bold are those I'd LOVE to hear, the rest I could pass on ....

All in all though, far more in there that I'd love to hear again than stuff there isn't. So yeah, a setlist like this I'd be quite content with ....

Looks a lot like the picture they posted on Twitter on 15/10...

Oh it is the same picture, would have been nice of them to give the source.

I'd go for new "old" stuff
Around And Around + Lady Jane would be better choices than Route 66 + Ruby Tuesday IMHO

It can't be the "full" setlist, there's no Keith set; no JJFlash/Satisfaction/Brown Sugar, nor any of the 2 new songs.

It's the beginning of the new No Vegas age. War horses and Keith sets are so passe.

Gett off my cloud
Gimme shelter
Wild horses
Moonlight mile
All down the line
Champagne & reefer
out of control
D&G
Iorr
HT Women
Before they make me run
happy
M Rambler
Miss you
Start me up
Tumbling Dice
B sugar
Sympathy
Ycagwyw
JJ Flash
Satisfaction

Either that or they know they can play JJF, BS, etc in their sleep so they're concentrating on the other songs....

This is obviously NOT the set list. Just a list of songs they were rehearsing on that particular day.

Interesting. I've mentioned "I Wanna Be Your Man" in several of those "What Song Should They Open With On The Next Tour" threads.

I've mentioned "Fortune Teller" hundreds of times.

They obviously don't love me.

My earliest and best explanation of why IWBYM would be a good opener, from way back in 2005.

why have your explanations been getting worse since 2005...fall out of a tree or something?

I'm just a 'first take' kind of guy. Sometimes the first take is the best take.

I wish my thread from 1996 where I suggested to The Stones that they should cover Bob Wills is Still the King was still around but unfortunately it was deleted. I also had a thread where I said they should totally cover Get Up, Stand Up but that has since disappeared, as well. Oh, and I also was the FIRST to say that they should hire Darryl Jones to replace Bill Wyman. I said this back in 1982,

Obviously, they listen to me smiling smiley
