When the Stones first became popular in 1962/63 they were given a pop life of a 5 years.
The Rolling Stones have surpassed all others with a World Wide Tour of live concerts from 1963 - 2003.
No other pop act has achieved this and this is unlikely ever to happen again.
The Stones are a once off with a catalogue of 50/ 60 terrific songs & the likes of what will not be seen again.
Lets all look forward to Stones years 2005/2006 in which if all favours them they will continue to create Rock & Roll history.

I totally agree.
AS I said it before , the Rolling Stones are to Rock and Pop Music what Mozart is to Classical Music ! the absolute reference, a band of genius, over gifted
is their incredible longevity not an evidence of their unique talent ?
I can't believe that millions of people could be wrong !!
