The Stones live on BBC The One show at 7pm today!

See The One show at 7pm today on BBC 1 for the Rolling Stones live.

And see this thread about how the show was being made throgh contributions from fans...

And 7pm UK time is 8pm i.e. 20:00 Central European time, 2pm EST/NYC time, 11am PST.

BBC have contacted me to make a broadcast on Friday. The stories and memories will be played back to The Rolling Stones themselves. The following are details about the broadcast. Normally I would just advice on the people who filmed for the Stones video in London recently, but because this is a new project please let me know if you are interested. I just need a "YES" here if you are interested, with conatct info. The filming will be done very soon, as the broadcast is Friday.

Details from BBC:

We at The One Show in London are making a short film about The Rolling Stones and their fans and the memorise and links they have had with them.

We would like UK based fans to share on camera their top tenuous involvement with any members of the Stones they have had and any memories of the stones they have had over the 50 years..

An example could be: “My tenuous connection was that when I was at junior school our music teacher was once played with Ronnie Wood. Or When we moved house the first song we played in our new house was Gimme Shelter. Anything like that would help.

We would like to film this week and the story’s and memories will be played back to The Rolling Stones themselves.

The Wembley Arena rehearsals ?! Possibly a preview of the stage and of the pit then...

Oh, I see. Well, that should be worth seeing then. Hope someone will post the clip here. Doubt we'll see a sneak preview of Taylor and Wyman, though. They'll probably be locked away in the dressing room so no one sees them until show time.

Looks like we lost the thread on the BBC program on the first page so I'll bump this one up. Can't wait as it was said in that thread that the extracts they played on the Chris Evans program today showed everyone being enthusiastic about the rehearsals and shows!

I hope they deliver.

Chris Evans has been plugging his interviews with the Stones for the One Show (7pm tonight BBC1) throughout his radio show this morning.

Everyone sounded in extremely good spirits in the extracts he played, especially Mick.

The interviews were done yesterday at Wembley Arena. Evans was there as they "rehearsed the entire show in front of about 6 of us".

Looking forward to seeing whether any IORR participants made the cut!
