I'm not sure that a lot of people here know who you're talking about. Many ol' farts here seem to think that good new music ended whenever the hell they stopped bothering to find it.Kind of sad, but whatever.

I'm jealous! I love the retro vibe of their new album too.

Brandon Flowers is a real rock star.

Eccentric... honestly I never expected such a great show.

I've never seen them live but I concur; fantastic stuff. Even Brandon's solo album is worthy of attention.

This was the brilliant bit... the house lights were fully on... they casually walked on stage in the full glare of everything... UNANNOUNCED.. they then played their most popular song "Mr Brightside"... in the full glare...

It was wonderful... everyone was bouncing...

Then... second song...

Woosshhh... lights out...

and the most brilliant light show you will ever see at a concert.

21 songs... all brilliant... magic.

I'll never forget it.

I hope they come to Ottawa soon, that sounds really cool!

The Killers definitely brings back fond memories for me: their first album, "Hot Fuss" came out when I was finishing up college and we all listened to them. To me, they were really pioneers in the new wave (pun intended!) of new bands bringing back the 80's/New Wave sound in I guess what's considered the "post-punk revival" that we are in today. Today, almost everyone sounds like The Killers. I guess that's a compliment!

Another band I dig that also came around the time with The Killers is The Bravery...both bands featuring that strong electronic element that is obviously a callback to the music they grew up on in the 80's.

I followed The Killers for a few more albums but eventually stopped keeping an eye on them. I should take a look at their latest album...I hear good things. Glad they're still around and no doubt they'll be around for a good while.

Mitt Romney likes the Killers (no joke) but probably because Brandon Flowers is a devout Mormon.

I have their first two albums which I like a lot, but they ain't the Stones.

Im no Victim, but I think they have some good songs...
Saw their live thing on TV one time and it was pretty good.

Great band.

They come through town in December. Really hoping to catch them. Glad ya had fun! Great band.

just bought my son 2 tix to the dec 14th show at MSG for his birthday & I'm taking him to the Stones show at the Prudential Center the next night. Should be a great week for him.
