Yeah, charmed, my beloved Dawgs have finally got going. Heading to Athens this Saturday with an old friend who played for Kentucky. Also, went to the GA_FL game - a rare but fun UGA win. Holla!

The No Spare Parts outtake was the only Thanksgiving song the Stones had....
damn shame Mick didn't leave those lyrics..

"I could be there Thanksgiving afternoon,
With a turkey in m'hand
And ah oughta buy a bottle o' booze'..."
smileys with beer

Happy Thanksgiving...

Just out of curiousity...isn't it 'voila'?

Isn't a viola a musical instrument?

Thanks for the pic Boston... I grew up on Cape Cod and although my parents are still in S. Yarmouth, I haven't been out to Chatham Light since 2008... Good memories!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Easy arrangement? Those cord changes are pretty damn fast in all reality, Easy to sluff off with the dominant cords in the piece like I have always done. Thanks for the quick lesson MKC. Joyfully when I get it right after acoupla runs through it.

I played guitar for a church choir competition last Sunday. Well practiced choirs from coastal California all in this huge church singing their hearts out. Christmas carols between sets , with all the locals chiming in with all the singers (think 500+ people all belting it out), it was pretty damn cool. Our choir did great and brought a southern baptist rock feel to the whole thing (2 guitars stand up bass and soulful piano), huge build, key modulations and all. I was brought in at the last minute to ice the cake (lucky me) and was left with a strong Christmas spirit to carry me through the holidays. Whoo Hoo! Besides all those beautiful ladies decked out in their Christmas best...delightful. peace.

Cool story Naturalust.

Yes sirree there is nothing like 500+ people singing Christmas songs to get one in the Holiday spirit.... especially if you are playing the music they are singing to. Id love to hear some of that magic music.

Hard to believe there is only 5 days left until Christmas.

Thursday is the winter solstice. The dark days of winter are starting to end.
