Just Another Night.

The best single from any solo and/or Stones since Start Me Up in '81.

Sounds great live too on Jagger's solo tour bootlegs.

Evening Gown is just a masterpiece. Also I would say Jagger's song Blue and Don't Tear Me Up. I also like Don't Call Me Up and Keith's Make No Mistake.

For Keith, You Don't Move Me, Locked Away
Ron: Breathe On Me

Take It So Hard. Great song........should have been on a Stones album is my only gripe, along with any other good song Mick or Keith penned for any of their solo work.

Might as well get juiced
Merry Christmas all you Stones freaks

I also like Just Another Night. It's one song where i feel the more modern recording techniques work in its favour. I also think Micks voice is very effective.
There are a number of Keith's songs i really like including Take It So Hard. My only problem is his songs somehow sound incomplete - i am always asking myself what they would sound like in the hands of a better vocalist like Mick but generally i do prefer Keith's solo musical direction to Mick's.

Party Doll. An honest, mature song.

Yes - those are fine tunes, probably my second and third choices, after "Eileen".

All i have to say is the Wandering Spirit disc would have been a killer, killer Stones disc. No questions about it. Having said that, I think it's the best solo disc / songs out of all the members...

Ronnie: I Got Lost When I Found You
Mick J.: Evening Gown
Keith: You Don't Move Me
Mick T.: Alabama
Bill (haven't heard)
Charlie (haven't heard)

Hate It When You Leave.

Written by a man who knows his Motown as well as the back of his hand. Holland-Dozier-Holland in their prime would have been proud of that one. The best song Keith has written in the last twenty years.

"Hate It When You Leave"!!!

That chord progression! I could go on playing it for hours and hours ...

Agree: it's one of the best by K (and even better live!)

"Hated It When You Leave"?

Yes,I remember hear it first time and I thought "Jeez, that guy can really make GOOD songs"; I think that's about the only Richards song that really makes a difference for.. 20 years? All the rest on that album, and the Stones related since then, does not give much surprises, or are just done by autopilot attitude to the same old formula. You know, not much talent or imagination or energy is needed to "write" songs like "Losing My Touch"..

HIWYL is really one of the hidden Richards gems. Easily ranked to one of his very best ever. And what a great vocals he does in this one (very difficult to say if it would have worked for the Stones, or Mick singing it?)

Better add "Duece and A Quarter" by Keef. Agree that "Hate It When You Leave" is excellent.

Hate It When You Leave and How Are Wish are my two favourites by Keith. I don't know any Mick solo other than the tripe on Goddess, though I do think Visions Of Paradise is okay enough.

Big Al, Wandering Spirit by Mick is indeed excellent. Especially after hearing Goddess. You'll dig it!
