Another enterprising bloke listed this auction on E-Bay today. His buy it now price is $10,000.00. I sent a message that I would make an offer on 12/14 when they are still available.

There are a couple of interesting points to note on this add. The seller has posted a picture of the actual tickets from Ticketmaster. If you know anything about Ticketmaster’s rating, these can't be as good as described. Ticketmaster rates the view a 3X, which would suggest they are further from the stage than advertised.

Second in his post he states Eric Clapton will be the special guest on the 12/15 PPV night. It will be interesting to see if this guy actually has a clue. but if he is he is obviously connected to ticketmaster, stubhub or other agency by being able to funnel the better tickets in his hand.

As he states, he has them listed on all the secondary ticket markets.

2 ROLLING STONES TICKETS FOR SALE OR BEST OFFER( Please DO NOT send me offers that are substantially below my BUY IT NOW price, they will be ignored. These are the BEST tickets in the ENTIRE VENUE so you will have to make a SERIOUS offer. Please BE AWARE these are being watched by other buyers and have a good amount of views so even if a buyer sends in a BEST OFFER and in the meantime the tickets are bought through the BUY IT NOW price they will be sold to the BUYER who purchased through the BUY IT NOW. DO NOT HESITATE or TAKE A CHANCE cause these will go!)

This Auctionis for 2 tickets to see Rolling Stones on Saturday, 12/15/2012 in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center.

The tickets I have are Floor B / Row 1/ Seats 11, 12....These are the BEST SEATS in the house guaranteed! These tickets are better than the General Admission Pit tickets because Pit tickets have no seats and you have to stand for the entire concert and be smushed with other people...with my tickets you will be inches from Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton their special guest appearence. I have the tickets now because i had TicketMaster overnight them to me. Contact me if you have any questions....

These tickets I have for sale are also for sale on Stubhub and other ticket selling sites so whoever purchases the tickets first will get these one of a kind tickets!!!

*** Please DO NOT miss out on these!! NO ONE has better tickets! These are Floor B Front Row 1 and seats 11 and 12, leaves you in the middle of the row so you will have the BEST SEATS in the house! This will be a show you will NEVER forget. The Rolling Stones will be doing only these 2 shows in NJ and that's it!!! THIS MAY BE THEIR LAST LIVE CONCERTS EVER! DO NOT MISS OUT!

This Concert is going to be sent out LIVE to Pay Per View and other TV outlets so if you purchase these tickets at Front Row you will have a great chance of being seen live right in front of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. If and when they make a DVD you will be able to show and prove to your friends and family you were there and FRONT ROW!

Also, Contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Once purchased these will be mailed through UPS and will have to be signed for NO QUESTIONS ASKED! This is to protect the buyer and also myself as the seller.

Lastly, if the Rolling Stones concert is canceled your payment WILL BE refunded... Payment WILL NOT be refunded if the concert is rescheduled by Rolling Stones.

Payment is due within 72 hrs and payment is to be made preferably through Paypal but we can agree on what is best. Thank you and good luck smiling smiley

Prices are now starting to increase as people buckle as the event nears. Pairs on the upper tier are now hitting the high £600s on eBay. It appears the waiting game is favouring the touts.

That's still below face, but I would be a little more patient. I think that those upper tier seats will trend much lower, and think the lower tier will drop as well. There are too simply many tickets out there. Of course, if you are willing to pay 406 each, monitor Ticketmaster for ticket drops. Just saw a very nice set of seats (102 row R, 65-66) for the 29th.

I don't think that pit and the A blocks will drop too much below 500-600 GBP; even on the "Bigger Bang" tour, the very best seats always had buyers (even right before the show), and this time, there are only two shows for all of Europe.

Wait until 30 minutes after the concert starts, and you'll probably find a scalper who's willing to settle for gas money.

If the tickets are real that is. You won't know that until you try to pass through the turnstile.

2 x Block 103 Row A for the 29th up now on GetMeIn for £253 (each) - this must be below face value, even with GetMeIn's markup.

That's definitely below face, block 103 row A were going on SEETICKETS for a long time a couple of weeks ago, at £406

Twist, cos' there's gonna be a LOT better than block 103 row A available for face or less than face coming up in due course, I'll wager a fiver on it.

Yes and as usual there's no info on where the seat is located, A starts at 90 and ends at 134 that makes a big difference. I saw McCartney in a similar location in an arena a few years ago and I felt a bit far from the action.

BTW I came across this chart last week that shows the seat numbers. Obviously there is no C section for the Stones and based on Paul's comments 101 and 112 are now entirely "cut-out" at the foot, but it should help when looking at seats, provided you're given the friggin' number :

yeah it's a pity they dont state the seat numbers...

Anyway, anyone in here looking for tix? Cos i'm looking for both, but i only need singles... so if there's a really nice ticket drop bound to be sold in pairs, i would like to know if anyone else would be up to it and buy together...

Below face as it may be, it's still too expensive, I promised myself if a ticket would not go under 200, I would not go and I stick with it.

Where are the initially promised tix under 200? I think 'face value' is essentially as variable as scalper prices, but since scaplers bought them all up at the beginning, the official channels had no need in letting de 406 ones drop to 150 anymore.

Enthusiastic as you all may be about 'scapler prices dropping to face value', I'm not. Remember we started our anger about face value being too much in the first place? This concern seems to have completely shifted to the scalpers.
And if scalped tickets will go below face in the last two days, for a foreigner it would be almost impossible to get hold of them in time anyway.

Fair enough, who's arguing ? Do what you gotta do ......

<<< And if scalped tickets will go below face in the last two days, for a foreigner it would be almost impossible to get hold of them in time anyway >>>

As a "foreigner", presumably you mean you'd be travelling in for the show, possibly say the day before, or maybe even the day of the show itself ? I could only suggest that if you bought off SEATWAVE or GETMEIN or VIAGOGO, there surely must be some provision they make for you to pick the ticket up, either at a central London location that they designate, or possibly even at the O2 box office.

I once bought a very very very last minute ticket for Rod Stewart at the O2, and I recall SEATWAVE telling me to pick it up at a small kiosk located within one of the record shops at Picadilly Circus. I went there a matter of hours before the show, the ticket was there, so it does work.

If you buy a scalped ticket of ebay or privately so to say, that's a different matter. You'd simply have to make arrangements to meet the seller and do an exchange - cash for tickets. Best way, at least you SEE what you're buying !!

Ah, ok, and you would place the "cut-out" where it shows on the map?

I think 101 can be seen on this picture :

I guess it doesn't really make a huge difference since it seems you're at the same distance from the stage.

Depending on trust of both sides I buy tickets on ebay only via paypal so that's the best insurance. The seller has send me all details and scans of the ticket as well as random notes by eventim that the Thursday concert is earlier. He as a superb record on positive notes and people are very happy with his service. So I trust on that one. I already bought tickets for Astoria like this in 2007 and everything worked fine. However there are frauds out there !!!

Correct. The picture must have been taken at say block 422, looking straight across the stage at block 101. You can see the aisle of steps that splits block 101 into its two parts. Follow that aisle of steps down towards the floor, and you can see that it stops short of the floor. The area where those first rows A to G would normally be is the area occupied by the wheelchair ramp and the viewing platform. Row H is the front row of block 101 "above" that wheelchair area.

Good picture, shows it well enough .... cool smiley

Thanks, it makes sense now, they should really provide an updated and detailed seating chart shouldn't they...

Some guy on the MJ forums had done some good work here [www.mjjcommunity.com] documenting the various locations with views. Level 4 on the side (BK404 picture) doesn't look too shabby after all, but that picture may have been zoomed in and taken from the front.

I've only ever once had a bad experience on ebay with tickets. I bought (or at least I THOUGHT I had bought) Tom Petty tickets, but the seller turned out to be a scam artist. I had a hell of a fight with PayPal to get my money back, had to enlist the help of my bank ultimately, but in the end I managed to recover the funds. It has completely put me off both ebay and PayPal to be quite honest. I was always "cautious", but now I'm even MORE cautious and "suspicious" as well ... probably to an unfair degree, but after you get burned once - you just don't particularly wish to be burned a second time !!

Yes they should, I fully agree. They should also display the range of seat numbers for the floor blocks, why do they not do that ?

I really understand that point. I am always very cautious as positive replies can be fake as well. On all the tickets via ebay I always received the phone call which worked properly. Once one guy has even sent me the tickets from the US to my hotel in London and I paid him later. I did of course pay the full amount of the tickets. So I think it also has to do with giving and receiving and again trust on both sides.
If you read some of the ebay offers you already realize while reading that something is not found.

Prices are defintely moving down. If it weren't for the agency fees, I would upgrade. As it is, I am tempted, but am holding off, as my show is on the 29th. Would still like to be in the pit or a little closer on the floor than I am. We'll see.

Prices are going down the drain aren't they...imagine how the people who thought they were going to sell for 3x must be feeling right now, hopefully that will drive prices down even quicker with a bit of panicking.

In case there are some floor openings for the 29th, anyone knows how the numbering works on the floor? Does it start with 1 on the left of A1 and go all the way to, say 60, on the right of A3 or are they numbered from 1 to 20 for A2 and 14 for A1/13 (numbers based on the picture below) ?

Just got a mail from Seatwave for last chance. On the other hand just two standing tickets sold for 950 £.
I assume the ticketagents don't have such a big loss. As they charge quite a lot of extra they even make money if they sell at face or little less.
