WOW! Makes me wonder IF Paris should have the pleasure of some secret/small/virtually free gigs. Perhaps they should have stuck to tradition and rehearsed here in Toronto then had some gigs HERE.

Pas impossible que le groupe ait demandé à plusieurs salles de se tenir à disposition (disons Trianon et Trabendo). Avec décision ce soir ou demain. Mais ça fait quelques jours qu'il y a des rumeurs pour demain, et comme le Trabendo est une des seules salles dispo, ça paraît quand même crédible.

Maybe several venues have been put on hold for tomorrow, with the band deciding at the last minute. That's the way Prince does it.

where are they rehearsing exactly ?

Why not? Bring in a couple of amps, guitars, drums...besides they were not rehearsing today so the crew could have moved whatever needed to be moved. It's only R'n'R not a space shuttle launch ;-)

Tout le problème est là ! Si c'est pas de l'intox, les tickets seront mis en vente demain soit sur place soit en ligne, dans les deux cas ce sera chaud...et il faudra avoir de la zenitude plein les poches.

Dommage que je n'habite plus en France... pour un club gig des Stones je serais pret a faire la queue et a payer $500!

If the Stones are appearing at that venue, it's not surprising that it's denying it. It's probably been told to keep quiet and the person answering the phone might not even know about it. And even if it hasn't been told to keep quiet, it's probably denying it to hold off the riot about to happen on its doorstep!

of course theyre going to say that! its supposed to be a secret gig! What are they expected to say - "well guessed! turn up at 10 am?"

On top of being a super-nice guy (I've met him once) Zégut is reputed for being well-informed... He knows all the promoters so the "we know nothing" from the TB staff is surprising... but maybe Gazza's right!

Yeah I doubt he would have put that out if he hadn't been in the loop somehow and given some kind of "ok", to build the anticipation up a bit and give people some time to get ready, eh...

Tickets to be sold online ? Unlikely I think, who would handle that? And they couldn't give people an anti-touting bracelet.

I saw Lucinda Williams in the Trabendo some years ago (2009?).
700 seems a lot from what i remember and the stage is very low (50 cms or 1,5 foot)).
By the way the stage is tiny too : i can't see backing singers and horns on that stage.

Who knows ? If it is "First there, first who get the tickets" it will be The big mess.

@Honestman - Absolutely, I didn't do it for the Olympia in 1995 when I got at the Virgin at 10.0 on a nice Sunday, won't do it on a cold Thursday...well...imagine the scalping that would be going on though with e-tickets? I guess they could do will call with a picture ID.

@marclaff - AFAIK there have been no rehearsals with backup singers or horns so far...

Rocker Paris is stating there is no concert tomorrow and not in the Trabendo.... He says on FB to stay tuned for next week though....

I wonder whether the gorilla will grimp the eiffel tower like in the kingkong movies and the Stones giving a concert beneath... that would be propaganda!!!
