Got a few jobs to do at work, and will just keep on trying through the day, but i know what the score will be.
That's exactly what I did for Springsteen in Oakland and it helped. Practiced buying tickets in New York. I initially had trouble with the codes but I kept practicing until I improved and I got in first time for Oakland.
Won't be going to these concerts even if they are free. Don't see the point of traveling across the country for a 2 hour concert. I'm a fan but not that big of a fan. Look forward to watching the blu-ray when it is released or seeing them if they come to San Francisco.

Bring back paying cash at the venue....would have been quicker to have gone down to the O2, 'waited in line' and purchased in person than all this online fiasco.
In the old days (1976) I got up early in the morning, cycled 10 miles to the nearest presale point, queued up for an hour and finally got tickets for the show on my 18th birthday. Price was 25 Dutch guilders, say $12. Those were the days.
I agree! Only those who are willing to queue out in the rain for hours to PROOVE their dedication get in.
I missed all that postal stuff but I remember for Voodoo Lounge buying tickets from HMV first thing on the morning they came out.
Then you had to queue all day at the stadium and run like hell to get down the front. But you could bring some food and a decanted bottle of JD to have a party outside the stadium with a load of other fans. Great times!
Now it's all VIPs and corporate guests down the front.
Hey Promoman, I'm in as well. Let's see if they're any better than the Pretty Things last week.

Haven't seen standing anywhere, but that doesn't mean there wasn't any at TM, at Eventim no standing tix were sold

Yeah, standing was only VIP and the FB sale yesterday...they'd said so much on their FB page on Wednesday when they posted that 100 tix would be available for fans via a FB code.

Seetickets now has a Kensington hotel offer at GBP 330 per person.
= 660 minus hotel (about 100) = 560 for two tickets.

As for the other two: I suspect they're pushing tickets one by one (or two by two, at most).
Has anyone tried the telephone hotline? I won't, because from abroad I know they're gonna spell both my name and address wrong.

Absolutely amazes me that these people can set up sites to sell tickets for bands like the Stones or U2 or whatever and refuse to invest in sufficient infrastructure to meet demand.
Ticketmaster has been unavailable all morning. See tickets is marginally better but I keep getting options to buy a ticket and then when you press to buy it it says unavailable.

I got in through Ticketmaster a few minutes after 9 BST. All tongue pit gone. Lucky I got me a Block 112 yesterday through the Facebook presale. TM is online again now, but it seems there's nothing left.
