Fountain proposed plausible set list:

Rocks Off
Cant you hear me knocking
Sweet Virginia
Tumbling Dice
Torn and Frayed
Mother Little's Helper
Out of Time
Ride on Baby
Backstreet Girl
Wild Horses
I can't be seen & Thru and Thru Keith
Start Me Up
I Go Wild
Sway
Gimme Shelter
Tumbling Dice
Bitch
Rough Justice
Doom and Gloom
Brown Sugar
Hand of Fate
Hey Negrita
Dance
It's only R & R
Satisfaction

Monkey Man should included-

I selected two KR songs that are simply great. i know folks don't like ICBS but that is subjective - Thru and Thu is great!

That's a pretty good setlist Chris. But there's no way they would ever do CYHMK second song of the night, or Rocks Off first - they're too tough to play in those slots.

I know what you mean- It would really piss me off if they omitted "the sunshine bores the daylight out of me" It still pisses me off to this day

>i know folks don't like ICBS but that is subjective - Thru and Thu is great!

I wish he would tackle something he's never done before, e.g., "Coming Down Again", "Sleep Tonight", "Losing My Touch". He's only played "Too Rude" w/Expensive Winos, never the Stones; and he only performed "How Can I Stop?" once. I'd be happy w/any of those (just not "Happy" again).

Sorry, I would not bet on them to play "Ride on Baby" or actually any songs from Flowers

Re: set list

Gimme Shelter isn't showing up on the lists we've seen so far and yet rs.com promises classics such GS, PIB etc so that means they have to play it doesn't it? Otherwise they've sold tickets under false representation.

would love to see the warhorses rotated instead of being played every show.

alternate

start me up with shattered and respectable.

tumblin dice with loving cup and torn and frayed.

you got me rocking with anything and anything else.

miss you with some girls and dance.

keep jj flash, brown sugar and paint it black for every show.

drop extended versions of gimme shelter, midnight rambler and replace with short versions of oldies like tell me, she said yeah, around and around, not fade away, the last time, its all over now, im alright.

chuck in a couple from the 1967 period, ie citadel, shes a rainbow, 2000 man.

heres my ultimate 25 song setlist.

1. shattered.
2. heartbreaker.
3. doom and gloom.
4. if you cant rock me.
5. she was hot.
6. as tears go by.
7. dance
8. citadel.
9. love is strong.
10. wild horses.

keith.

11. happy.
12. little t and a.
13. infamy.

oldies b-stage.

14. not fade away.
15. one more try.
16. she said yeah.
17. satisfaction.
18. tell me.

warhorses.

19. gimme shelter.
20. honky tonk woman.
21. tumblin dice.
22. paint it black.
23. symathy for the devil.

encore.

24. jj flash.
25. brown sugar.

more than ever..the setlist will all be "hits", a new song or 2 + a cover tune. their final shows (forever) will not consist
of deep album cuts.

i hope i'm wrong.

ideally, their final tour should have been something like the 40 Licks tour...different venues and different setlists.

IORR............but I like it!

plausible set list...in what world?

and whe was the last time they played 25 sogs?? '89

They will do 18-20 soings, mostly well known hits, with little variation between the first and second night, especially in Newark when the first night is merely a rehearsal for the PPV show.

Having said that, I cant wait to see them in Newark! During the second night at the Beacon, i thought for the first time, that it may be the last time for me to see them live.
