Exactly. The arrogance and indifference from the band towards the fans is appalling. A 5 year layoff and we're supposed to shell out record prices. At venues that most people will be forced to travel to with more expense? No thanks.

No one is being forced to pay these prices but the band have shit all over their loyal fan base by setting prices so high. 100 Euro a ticket would have meant most people could go, the band and promoters make money and everyone's happy.

Remember, they were offered mega millions for these gigs, so the price has to be high to recoup costs, but the question is, is it wishful thinking that if a tour follows next year, prices may not be as high as these 4 shows because the guarantee to the Stones may be less per show?
...I think it's wishful thinking, but who knows, maybe we will be surprised. (Then when they put top seats at $500, it will seem like a bargin.)

I have broken my piggy bank, smashed it to smithereens, and will be going on the 25th!

Well I used this.. [safalra.com] ...to see what an inflated figure of £4 (price of a ticket to Earl's court in 1976) would be, it's £28. That's what a ticket to this should cost if in line with all other inflated prices from then 'til now on the Consumer prices index in the UK.
In other words, 7 times higher as opposed to what it is...........100 times higher...............
