just found fll info , which was unknown to me so far , on bowiebible website
David Bowie saw a performance by The Rolling Stones at London’s Empire Pool on 7 September 1973.
After the performance he visited the band backstage. The following week he saw the band again in Newcastle.

It's such a weird coincidence that I was born almost exactly, and I mean to the day, 8 years and 5 months less a few days before this!
