just listened to the itunes version.

sound is better than the you tube one.
the riffs still remind of the Undercover era.
Jagger is shouting, but i think its a fair song.

not one of their masterpieces, but good enough.

and that is a shame, cause ive been a fan since 1973 and i would have thought the band would give us something majestic.

It's only rock and roll but I like it. A great ABB song. Could have found its place in that album. A Stones dance floor song. Keith is missing somewhere as Charlie. Could we have expected something else? Dunno. It's efficient anyway.

Well I dutifully read the first 17 pages of this while I was supposed to be working today and have now finally heard it. I thought it could go either way from the comments here and comparisons with Rough Justice, which I think is really lame, weren't encouraging but yes, it sounds pretty good to my ears. Very much a Jagger track and thank God for that considering how dismal recent Richards efforts have been.

I'm interested in what current artists are better than this James? Sure this is not the next Exile, but it's a fun celebration of their 50 year long career, and it should be viewed as such. I tried to love much music made after the nineties, but it's as though music got dull after that period, just like it was dull before the 20th century (for me). Only new music from the 2000s that I can dig, and dig hard is Jack White and maybe Corey Chisel & The Wandering Sons.

Well, since Ronnie is upfront in the mix the whole song and it sounds like a rocker by Ronnie... Soundwise also..

I bet everything in my ball sack that isn't Keith playing rhythm on this track. Either all guitars are Mick and Ronnie or they are all Ronnie.

This song is way better than Rough Justice, and this was my favorite on ABB ... I really like Doom and Gloom, good job, "boys"!
