BRAND NEW ROLLING STONES SINGLE “DOOM AND GLOOM” RELEASED ON THURSDAY

The Rolling Stones are pleased to announce the WORLD EXCLUSIVE first airplay of their brand new single ‘Doom And Gloom’ will take place on Thursday 11 October at 8.15am BST. The single can be downloaded on the same day from iTunes.

“Doom And Gloom“ marks the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have been in the studio together for seven years. Taken from the forthcoming album GRRR!, “Doom And Gloom” was recorded in Paris and produced by longtime Rolling Stones producer Don Was, who has worked with the band on five previous albums (Voodoo Lounge/ Stripped/ Bridges To Babylon/ Live Licks/ A Bigger Bang), with the radio mix produced by Jeff Bhasker.

GRRR! is released on 12 November and is a must for Stones fans featuring a second brand new recording “One More Shot“, as well as classic tracks “Gimme Shelter”, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, “Street Fighting Man”, “Start Me Up”, “Beast of Burden”, “Tumbling Dice”, “Love Is Strong” and more.

GRRR! will also be available to pre-order on iTunes from Thursday 11 October. Fans who pre-order the album will receive an instant download of single “Doom And Gloom”.

Great news. Now put out "One More Shot" as an official download because I'm surely not going to buy all those tracks again just for one new track no matter how nice the packaging is.

I don't mind paying for new product, but I don't need any more greatest hits compilations.

Looking forward to comparing notes on Thursday.

Hopefully not in my house... Whenever my wife does post ordering I end up digging holes for some dumb new fence she's decided needs to be around yet another flower bed/garden...

Because the way Don Was described it: It's mainly a Keith riff, as I recall, and undeniably very Stonsey. Apparently, easily recognizable from "miles away." I'm curious what exactly Keith has in the tank. He's been sitting on riffs for years, I'm curious what he's writing these days.

ditching the olives and vermouth altogether and substituting scotch (to burn the blend) and a twist of lemon is the classy way...and to annoy everyone, "just sayin' "
