'Twenty minutes from Manhattan' is not NYC by the way.

where do you get your information.. Yes, of course it is. I live in Queens. It takes 20 miute by LIRR ( Long Island Railroad) to get to MSG at Penn Station, in the middle of Manhattan. Please consult a map or visit the LIRR website. I guess you don't know much about NYC- it has 5 boros- manhattan, queens, bronx, staten island and brooklyn. To drive into Manahattan from eastern queens, it can take up to an hour, easy with traffic.

You cats can't take a joke.

A trustable source have informed me that prices for UK shows will be from 105 to 450 pounds. Just about what, I or we, expected.

Damn

Yes, I don't like it either, but that's no surprise, and I bet they'll sell all the tickets even with those prices

£450 was what I had heard too....the £105 end of it is lower than I thought it would be, to be honest.

Of course a lot depends on how MANY are in each category and if there are tickets priced in between those high and low ranges.

In 2007, I seem to recall the top priced £162 seats went way up and back .£105 will probably be behind the stage

I predict Doom and Gloom at the pre-sale angry smiley

Hello,

Looks like I'll be employing the same tactics that were last seen 5 years ago at The O2, i.e. wait until the last minute in the hope that Fan Asylum (and at those prices these folk should *in* the asylum) packages go unsold and are released for general mug-punter sale.

Welcome back uncertainty my old friend, it's good to talk with you again...

In any case I'm already looking forward to meeting a lot of you loons at The Pilot pub. First round would appear to be on me...ouch!

Cheers,

Simon.

$5000 IS A BARGAIN- remember it includes a dinner, a breakfast and transportation to the show.

... and back ?

Back? Good grief - what do you expect for a mere $5000?

For that kind of money at least a happy ending.

Wrigley Field concert(s) to be announced next week. Artist unknown.

Bullshit! How the hell could an unknown artist sell out Wrigley?

It just doesn't make sense?!

Maybe you're information is wrong, and it will be a name act, like Madonna, Rhianna or Prince?

I have a place in NYC to stay. Twenty minutes from Mahattan. $5000/ night: includes a bed, breakfast and free transportation. Negotiable.

Would you be willing to negotiate the removal of two zeroes? I'll pay for the cab. Cant say fairer than that.

$50 is an insult!
It's NYC, it's the Stones no can do. If you can find a place in NYC for $50 I would suggest you bring either a large bodyguard or a gun. Inasmuch as guns in NYC ( at least hand guns) are illegal to carry, you'd need a large bodyguard. $5000 IS A BARGAIN- remember it includes a dinner, a breakfast and transportation to the show.

This could run and run.......

It was a joke,,, as i said.

According to voodoopug on Shidoobee, it's probably Pearl Jam.

I'm hoping that 450 for the top ticket might be in dollars, rather than GBP, given the exchange
rate at the moment. If it's GBP, that would be about the highest prices for tickets we've seen
yet, outside of the packages.

That doesn't mean they're going to sell tickets...then.

I have been to a couple of tour openers and found them quite rough even with a club show warm-up. I don't see how they are going to rehearse for 1 month and then jump on stage for four shows and expect them to go smoothly?

Because it's good to be here, it's good to be anywhere?

Hey, that's in that Stones "song" with the sample! You're plagiarizing!

Upstate NY in Buffalo, but it is within reach. However the cost may be prohibitive.

I usually catch them in Toronto a mere 90 minute drive. I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to make an appearance there.

OK guys what do you think, will this be a comeback? I mean will this be something great, something truly great? This is an interesting time in their career, I don't think this will be more of the same "Vegas"-era. Keith's Little Red Rooster was great. I loved it, it sounded real, and it suited his voice. I sort of hope he'll sing some cool song that suits his voice and that isnt a sentimental piece picked to suit his image.

Been in the bank too many times. It'd be ironic if the Stones played an arena named after them as between them theyve taken most of my money over the last 30 years!
