i just picked up the new ian hunter this week, when im president,i was wondering how many hunter fans hear on iorr sight, and any thoughts on how he remains such an amazing unwavering brilliant artist year after year.?he is britains answer to bob dylan.he is 73 and his sondwriting of the last 25 years puts the stons to shame.im the biggest stones fan in the world and i only wish the stones were 10 percent as motivated.

Yeah, the new album is really strong. Saw three of the Mott reunion shows in London back in '09 and interviewed Ian way back in '89. He was very gracious. Love that man's songwriting indeed.

Ian hunter writes great music, age has nothing to do with it.

Great album, I should see him a couple of times on this tour. He's still brilliant.

I always enjoy his new albums though its hard to seperate them, Since his masterpiece "Rant" they all sound a little alike, But anyway its far away from beeing mediocre.

And he isnT at all that boring like his Bobmess and his voice is still on!

Ian has deserved much more attention in the Rock'n Roll world!

I knew the chap that compiled the All The Young Dudes and Ian Hunter's Once Bitten anthologies. Hunter is a really nice guy.

saw him in NYC a few weeks ago - new album is great! check out Fatally Flawed, for example. He's got a tight band with him, too.

Even with the time difference, I don't think I can magic up a 2013 DVD yet. There's a good show from last month in the US on Dime just now (2 versions, both are fine). Both are FLAC that can be converted to mp3 should you so require.

I reckon when I'm President is the best thing he's done since Rant.

I'm grooving on the new album. If the Stones can come up with a "generic" rocker as corking as What For, that would be great.

Looking forward to seeing him in TO Dec.7

Saw him on Saturday and he was in blistering form. The new material works really well live, too. A great gig. I am sure you will enjoy tomorrow immensely. If I get time at the weekend, I'll try putting a few photos from the show on here.

What's that sound? The Flyin' Scotsman's back in town. Woo Woo!
