Yeah Frank, for a guy 86 years young, he still has "IT", it was good to see him.

Heck of a ballgame last night from SF...

San Diego? not so much... but that is another thread.

Why is it that in baseball a team can play very well on one day, and the next day they don't? (STL-Giants 6-4 and then 1-7).

Shame The Yankees are wasting some great pitching performances by their starters because they simply can't hit. They have only scored in two inning throughout the first three games.

And how about Arod?... talk about a guy being raked over the coals.... I see no reason why NY will keep him. NY plays for the post season, and if they are sitting him in the post season, why would they keep him.... I wonder if he will retire or go somewhere else?

I tend to stop bashing on people when I see everyone jump of the same person, then I kind of feel sorry for them, like I now kind of feel sorry for ole Arod. It will interesting to see what becomes of him.

BTW- SF v STL on now.....and NY v DET on later.

Unfortunately The Yanks are stuck with A-Rod unless he retires, I think his contract runs through 2017. If he doesn't break out of his funk hopefully he will retire.

Thats what I see happening.... he has already been around the block... and he did the rare thing of going around the block and heading up to the Yanks... dont usually people fall from them?... not wind up there?

I thought it was particually hillarious the story I heard briefly where he was flirting with babes in the stands after he was sat the otehr night.. I dont know the whole story... but it sounded funny... to me anyway... the piling on bashing.... the babes.... him not caring... all of it just funny.... I dont know the deal...

aww heck..... lemme look it up....

TOO FUNNY!! [www.desmoinesregister.com]| [www.usatoday.com]

Rodriguez was slammed by a New York Post report this week that said he was openly flirting with two blonde female fans sitting near the New York dugout after the highest-paid Yankee was benched late in Game 1.

According to the report, A-Rod threw a baseball into the stands asking one of the women for her number.

The Daily Mailhas identified that women as Kyna Treacy, a bikini model and designer from Australia. The Daily Mail originally reported that Treacy was 33 years old, but she went to her Twitter account to say that she's actually 27.

OK, give me The Detroit Tigers in five.

The Detroit pitchers can pitch but can they hit? Four games will be without the DH and pitchers that can't hit can kill a lot of rallies.

I'm no fan of the Tigers but if they do win I'll be happy for Jim Leland. Too bad The Yanks can't get him.

Yeah, I am betting Verlander now wishes he hadnt sucked so hard
in the All-Star game... giving the home field advantage to the NL
