...I don't know how Come On, which is a crap record...

I think Come On has a certain charm... it's early 1960s Britain with it's damp housing, beehive hairdos, bakerlite radio sets, knitting needle tv aerials, dansette record players and everyone wishing they were American.

I don't understand the sequencing of these tracks. All three versions start out in correct chronological order, and then, they're not. Where did you find this, Carster? I don't see it posted anywhere else on the internet. What's your source, if you don't mind my asking.

That's not the tracklist--that's what's been circulating because some doofus made it up and put it on Wikipedia. The tracklist has not been released yet.

Re: Grrr! - Tracklists Revealed

This whole project is a disaster except for, hopefully, the 2 new songs. It seems as though they could not decide if they wanted to put the tracks in chronological order or not. They start out in order but then you have Start Me Up in between two Exile tracks and then Hot Stuff AFTER Emotional Rescue. It makes absolutely zero sense to me.

I'm sure the Stones aren't misspelling it Undercover (Of The Night).

Remembering "40 Licks", I wonder are these songs album versions, single edits, single mixes, exclusive mixes or all of the above?

Single edits for some, probably the UK mix for Miss You again. Single mixes? Who knows. No exclusive mixes probably.

I'm missing this version, the 'in brackets' version so I'm definitely getting a copy of GRRR!

I already have all of these songs on CD's and/or vinyl, and for some on three sources such as CD, vinyl, and VCR. It would be stupid for me to buy GRRR! I might buy the two new ones on iTunes, but only if I dig them. If not, I can take a listen on You Tube.

The Stones easily have the talent to make a new album with some winning swingers, but they give us this instead.

FAIL. "Yawn. peace" is not a song on The Rolling Stones' GRRRRRR! or whatever it's actually called.

OK, sure, whatever, they can.

Why is it, though, that people can't accept that it's rather obvious that they don't want to make a new LP? They don't need to either.

It will be close to having something from every previous compilation but mainly Hot Rocks plus Rewind/Jump Back.

Meanwhile I've made a expanded Made In The Shade, a improved Time Waits For No One (removed Angie), expanded Sucking In The Seventies and expanded Rewind.

Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of a Creem Magazine line reviewing all the Stones albums, from 1981.

When they get to TSMR, they generally smashed it to pieces, but the funniest bit was when the reviewer discussed, why don't we "Sing This Song All Together", to which he replied, "Because it's so fukking STOOPID!!!".

Always loved that line.
