Nowadays, any venue that isn't a corporate sponsored name! I look back to the old arenas in the NHL that are gone now except for MSG: Chicago Stadium, Boston Gardens, Montreal Forum, Maple Leaf Gardens, Detroit Olympia.
It's unreal how many newer arenas/stadia have already had name changes from one sponsor to another, too. In Vancouver, GM Place is now Rogers Arena.

And just a couple of doors down, In Your Ear records, one of the last great vinyl record shops in [any] town.

A couple days before their June 2009 show at the Paradise, David Johansen of The New York Dolls stopped in to scour the bins in search of copies of his solo albums. Having found what he was looking for, he graciously handed out show tickets to those working behind the counter.

The worst of them all is the Jobing.com Arena, which is where the Phoenix Coyotes play.

In Vancouver, the much larger facility is BC Place...we just spent 600 million dollars in 'upgrading' the roof (AFTER the olympics) to be retractable (although won't work if it's windy), and luckily we have our integrity intact as we decided to pay for it ourselves instead of selling out to corporate shills.

I feel quite pious, but poor.
