Milwaukee Summerfest, New Orleans jazzfest

I've been to several Milwaukee Summerfests,the highlight obviously being The Stones in 2015.Am hoping to attend Jazzfest for the first time this year .Has anyone been to both?
All the stages at Summerfest have seating ,does Jazzfest have a similar sort of set up?

Jazz Fest only has seating in the smaller tented stages and inside the paddock area but you can bring your own folding chair to any stage. You would have to get there as soon as the doors open in the morning to get your chair anywhere near the stages the headliners play.
